Peekaboo

Oh no! Your glasses broke! Whatever will you see?

Rendered at a disadvantage, you must navigate past the ghosts that haunt you while collecting items in hopes of fixing your glasses.

Peekaboo is pixel-art platformer shooting game that takes inspiration from early 2000s sci-fi horror cartoons and action games.

Controls:

A: Left Movement

D: Right movement

Space: Jump

Left Click: Shoot

This game was created in participation of CpES's 48hr Virtual GameJam Event under the theme of "Broken World." As a team we interpreted the broken world element in a visual manner where the player sees obscure creatures and colors.  The coding and character sprites are exclusive to Peekaboo, other game elements like environment and music are game assets we found online.
